It's time to try my hand at posting a picture each day. But I'm sure I won't manage to post each day with a picture from that very day. Hence... yesterday.
That looks so cool! Is it expanded inside? Looks like the continuous bench that wrapped around the wall is gone? Neat-o glass doors and KBC window stenciling.
I'll bet the acoustics are astounding in there with the paneling on the walls and wood flooring. Oh, to be able to belt it out singing those precious Scripture Songs like only the folks at KBC/the Chapel can with all those beloved brothers and sisters.
It is expanded, yes. They took it out toward the edge of the veranda in the front. The area where the "stage" is is all new space. You can still walk around that side of the veranda, but there's just a few feet of walkway. They did take out the bench, and I'm amazed at how much more room it makes inside. The floor is the original floor that has been refinished. It is gorgeous. They also refinished the dining room floor to the original wood - beautiful! And yes, it was a blessing beyond words to sing there again.
Wow!! It looks great! There is nothing quite like joining in the singing and the valuable times sitting under teaching and preaching in that very room! Those are some of my favorite memories of KBC!
