It's time to try my hand at posting a picture each day. But I'm sure I won't manage to post each day with a picture from that very day. Hence... yesterday.

Strawberry
... that's what the kids call our red hen. I caught this shot of her yesterday afternoon. Isn't she pretty?
Hi Laurel, I linked here from my daughter, Tab's, blog. Yes, this "Strawberry" is very pretty! Another daughter, Christine (19), spent Friday morning helping our friends butcher 200ish chickens. She has helped 2 or 3 years now and it seems to be such a fun time of fellowship, that she mess and guts are worth it! They use a "butchering cart" that makes the process go much quicker than "by scratch". Okay, that's more than you probably cared to know, but there you have it! Do you raise meat chicken?
You probably don't remember me (I was at KBC several times for Fam. Camp) and I remember you, but mostly from Tab. Hope all is well. In His grip of grace, Laurie

Are you planning to eat this one?
Just her eggs. :-) She's a real "people chicken" and has endeared herself to us with her sweetness.
